Bombay Beef Hot

  • 250g Beef
    1 (150g) tin diced tomatoes, drained
    ¼ cup water
    1 brown onion
    ½ tablespoon garlic, chopped
    ½ tablespoon ginger, grated
    75 ml coconut milk

  • 1 kg Beef
    1 (400g) tin diced tomatoes, drained
    1 cup water
    2 brown onions
    1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
    1 tablespoon ginger, grated
    250 ml coconut milk

Cooking Method

Fry onion, garlic & ginger until softened.  Add Spice Blendz Bombay Beef spice mix and beef and coat well.  Add tomatoes and water/stock combine well and bring to the boil.  Cover and simmer very slowly for 1 ½ hours or until meat is tender.  Add the coconut milk and bring slowly to the boil stirring constantly.  Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.

Serving Suggestion -Basmati rice and naan bread.
